Listen, there are literally dozens of bands out there all advertising the same thing: Needs super experienced whatever for serious metal/blues/classic/commercial/blah blah bulls*it.  Our band doesn###t really fit that profile.  We###re more fun.  We are two guys, one###s a lead singer who plays guitar and piano, writes a lot of original music and likes to harmonize in his spare time.  The other is a supersick drummer who can play any style and breaks a lot of sticks with his awesomeness kinda like Animal from the Muppets.  We play punk rock, power punk, power pop, power ska just made that one up, reggae, and regular rock.  We get funky, we even pull out a rap song from time to time.  We have a huge sense of humor, and like to play joke songs, but we also have serious moments.  Music should be about a whole range of emotions.  Our heroes include: Less than Jake, Green Day, Ben Folds Five, The Gorillaz, Alkaline Trio, RBF, Tenacious D, Incubus, Foo Fighters and more.   We are looking for 2 people, a bass player and a lead guitarist.  Vocals are definetly helpful, but not required if you rock.  Bass player needs: a bass, a bass amp, the ability to play bass guitar, and to not be younger than 21, not older than 40.  Exceptions can be made if you have a sweet old man beard and can tell stories about your days being a roadie for Zeppelin.  No Zeppelin covers.  If you are a guitarist, substitute guitar for bass in the paragraph above.  We play by ear, so that###s required.  We practice every weekend, we both have daytime jobs but we make time around that, and we will accomodate your schedule as well.  We###ve been playing together for 3 years, have both been in successful bands for 8+ years, and have a lot of covers and originals under our belts.  Our goals are to play shows in the NY/NJ/PA area, whether its college basements or big clubs, and expand from there to world domination.  We###d also like to hit the studio and record an album.  We think music should be fun, and that the work that goes into having that fun isn###t really work at all.  This may not have been a serious ad, but we###d like to be.  That###s where YOU come in!  Call or email us soon so we can get started rocking!/P> P> /P>

Rock band looking for a vocalist with dynamic range and power.  We do covers, originals, depending on which direction vocalist takes us.  We need someone that can sing any genre and get by.  A unique stage presence would be fantastic, but we need a singer that can match the band musically.  (we are tired of hearing you guys are great, but your singer.....) We have gigs lined up, so we need someone good as soon as possible.  Preferrable no chicks, but we will not discriminate in any way at all...if you are good, you are good.  The Who, Zeppelin, STP, Audioslave, Kravitz, you name it, we play it.  If you know a bassist, that would be nice too...ours is a bit not dependable.
